It can also be for persons substantially unable to manage their own finances or resist fraud or undue influence. The purpose of a conservatorship is generally to protect and arrange care for the conservatee and to protect their rights and manage their financial resources.

A Limited conservatorship is a court arrangement for a conservator to care for and protect a developmentally disabled adult and provide for the conservatee’s special needs associated with daily life.
